2018 Honda Odyssey CabinWatch wins Award from Popular Science Magazine

Recently, Popular Science magazine granted its "2017 Best of What's New" award to the CabinWatch™ feature found in the 2018 Honda Odyssey, putting a spotlight on one of the vehicle's many family-friendly features.

The CabinWatch feature uses a ceiling-mounted camera to provide the driver and front=seat passenger with a birds-eye view of what's happening in the second- and third-row seats, displaying the image on an 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen. It works both day and night thanks to infrared capability, so parents can even check on a sleeping child without having to turn on a light. Thanks to smartphone-like gestures, you can zoom in or out to get the view you want.

The Honda Odyssey also boasts a range of active and passive safety features, including Honda Sensing technologies like Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System and Adaptive Cruise Control.

To experience the 2018 Honda Odyssey for yourself, visit our showroom at 1701 South Medford Drive in Lufkin.
